Lexmark Optra X654

The Lexmark Optra X654 is a relatively new addition to the long list of quality printers and image processors developed by the company. Lexmark Optra X654, now available as X654de, is a multifunctional image processing machine that can copy, print, fax and scan documents without any technical glitches or long procedures. The Optra X654 has thus become an essential item in offices and companies that have higher flows of documents and daily print requirements.

The Lexmark Optra X654 printing qualities are matchless especially if compared with most of its competitors. It offers the highest printing speed of 55 pages per minute for the standard letters. Speed of printing for a standard A4 paper is 53 pages per minute. Duplex printing speed for letters is 37 pages per minute and for A4 papers is 36 pages per minute. The first page takes around 9.5 seconds to print but subsequent printing jobs are a breeze. The printer offers maximum print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi and 2400 Image Quality. Any image can be resized in the range of 25% to 400%. The Optra X654 uses quality toner cartridges that ensure excellent printing standards.

Networking features of the Lexmark Optra X654 include Ethernet 10/100BaseTX (RJ-45), Internal Card Slot and USB 2.0 (Type B). There is also USB port (Type A) that is compatible with USB 2.0 specifications. Internal 1284-B Bidirectional Parallel and also Internal RS-232C serial and ports are also available. TCP/IP protocols and other network features are fully supported on the Optra X654 de. The printer has a processor of 600MHz and a standard memory of 256MB; it can be expanded to 1280MB by using the memory slots. The printer has 100-sheet multipurpose feeder, 550-sheet input tray and
550-sheet output bin. PCL 6 Emulation, PCL 5e Emulation, PostScript 3 Emulation, Personal Printer Data Stream (PPDS), xHTML, PDF 1.6, Direct Image and Microsoft XPS are fully compatible with Optra X654. The printer is also fully compatible with Windows, Linux, Unix and Apple Mac OS and user interfaces.

Lexmark Optra X654 has embedded a great copier into its body with an impressive per-minute speed of 53 pages. It takes just 7.5 seconds for the Lexmark Optra X654 to prepare for the first copy. The fax machine integrated into the Lexmark Optra X654 uses a 33.6 kbps modem. The scanner has a capacity of 55 sides per minute and 600 X 600 dpi resolution. The Lexmark Optra X654 is an excellent multifunctional machine that should be present in every office, especially those with higher printing needs.

Reset a Lexmark Multi Function Printer

We unexpectedly set a bad word on a Lexmark X422 and I couldnt attain the process to set it anywhere. I contacted Lexmark resource and they conveyed me the steps to get into the plan schedule where you can reset the machine sanction to mill defaults.

1. Mold and throw the Start and Catch buttons and ferment on the machine.
2. Postponement the buttons feather until "Performing Consciousness Test" is displayed on the LCD.
3. Conclusion the buttons and "Design Menu" is displayed.

Lexmark Optra C710 Optra C720 Optra C750 Message Reset Methods

Found message error on printer Lexmark Optra C710, Optra 720 and Optra 750. Here the maintenance Message Reset Methods for Lexmark Optra C710, 720, 750 printers

Optra C710
  1. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test the display will read CONFIG MENU
  2. Press the MENU button right or left until RESET FUSER COUNT appears
  3. Press the SELECT button to reset the count
Optra C720
  1. Enter the Diagnostic Menu for all resets by pressing the GO and RETURN buttons and turn the printer on
  2. Continue holding until PERFORMING SELF TEST is displayed
  3. Select RESET COUNTERS from the Diagnostic Menu
  4. Select the individual counter for reset and press the SELECT button

Optra C750
  1. Enter the Configuration Menu by holding down the SELECT and RETURN buttons while powering on the printer until the display reads PERFORMING SELF TEST. After the self test, the display will read CONFIG MENU
  2. Select individual reset for fuser or ITU kit
